This year, we're bringing the Walk For Life to you!

On Saturday, May 9, we're hosting our annual "Walk for Life Fundraiser" to raise awareness and financial support for the moms and babies we serve. However, to ensure the safety of our supporters, this year's Walk For Life is being held wherever you are!

Whether or not you have a Facebook account, you can tune-in to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/RuthHarbor on
SATURDAY, MAY 9th AT 11:30 A.M. for a "Walk For Life send-off."

Participating in the Walk is great! Being a SPONSORED WALKER is what leads to life-change.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Christ-centered homes & programs for pregnant and parenting young moms.

Ruth Harbor holds two major awareness and fundraising events each year. Be sure to follow us on Facebook & Twitter, and join our email list to be notified of these upcoming events and how you can get involved.

  • Our Walk For Life is a family-friendly outdoor event held in May, the Saturday prior to Mother’s day. Individuals, families, small groups and churches are encouraged to become “sponsored walkers” and join us for a 1.2-mile walk to celebrate and raise funds for the ministry.

  • Our Fundraising Banquet is held in November of each year. This is an adult-only, semi-formal banquet with an opportunity to listen to a guest speaker, be brought up-to-date on the ministry’s successes and dreams, and enjoy life-changing testimonies from our former residents.

Since we laughed along with him at last year’s banquet, Mike Williams published two books: Don’t Stand Under a Flock of Angry Birds: Ancient Wisdom from A Modern App and The Parable of the Muddy Jeep: The Adventurous Life of Riding Shotgun with God. He has another book due out yet this fall entitled Bows & Arrows…Life lessons I learned while trying to hit my target. Mike has recorded 14 CDs, 4 DVDs, and written numerous other books. Nationally-known speaker and writer, he’s heard daily on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Laugh USA channel. Mike came to popularity as a pro-life speaker after Focus on the Family brought his personal story of his own adoption and his son’s rescue and subsequent adoption to national spotlight.
